The project Les Eoliennes en Mer Dieppe - Le Tréport is a wind farm of Dieppe - Le Tréport located in the French Channel off the coasts of Normandy, between the two cities of Dieppe and Le Tréport. The Project accounts for a power capacity of 496 MW each. On behalf of Contractor DEME Offshore, Scaldis was responsible for the installation of the jacket and topside and subsequent activities.

Scaldis SMC is very proud to have installed in close cooperation with DEME the OSS of the Tréport windfarm. Despite challenging environmental conditions, both the project teams and the Gulliver crew managed to finish the works in time thanks to a very close and constructive collaboration throughout the whole preparation/engineering process and the actual execution. Another successful milestone in driving the energy transition forward!

Scaldis Scope

The jacket was lifted in the harbor of Dieppe due to the limited clearances between the jacket structure and Gulliver’s main cranes. Once hoisted, it was transported in-hook to the installation site. Subsequently, four piles were lifted, upended, and inserted into the jacket’s sleeves. The piles were driven to the target depth using a hammer, with penetration monitored by an ROV. After reaching the required depth, the piles were grouted to secure them to the jacket. Following grout curing, the barge was moored alongside Gulliver to allow for the topside lift and installation onto the jacket.
