Client Equinor, Eni and Petoro are developing the Johan Castberg project, which includes the Skrugard, Havis and Drivis oil and gas fields. These fields are located in the Barents Sea at a depth between 360 and 390 m and will be exploited by the use of a subsea production well system and the FPSO vessel named Johan Castberg. During the construction phase of the FPSO, the vessel hull is delivered and moored to the Aker Solutions yard at Stord, Norway. On behalf of Company Aker Solutions, Contractor Scaldis will be responsible for the positioning of 6 process units and 2 pipe racks on the FPSO vessel hull.
