Decommissioning Campaign of D12-A Platform

Wintershall Noordzee B.V. has awarded Scaldis the decommissioning of the D12-A platform in the Southern North Sea.

Scaldis successfully and safely lifted the topside, followed by the removal of the jacket. The topside was transported to the disposal yard on a transport barge, towed by a tug. After lifting, the jacket was transported to the disposal yard in the crane hooks. Following offloading of the jacket on the quayside, HLV Gulliver re-lifted the topside from the transport barge, for a final setdown on the disposal yard’s quayside.
